TRAIL & CAMP:
Trails consist of loops to base camp with all vet checks in camp. The base camp is a large open meadow at 8400 ft. elevation. There will be horse & people water in camp. Terrain varies from good smooth footing to rocky. Trails are two-track and single track. Ave. high temps about 70 and ave. lows about 35. Come prepared for any type of weather including snow.
FOOD:
Elin will be providing her gourmet ranch meals as she did last Fall. I have never had so many compliments on ride-food as I got from Elin’s fare. Personally, I’ve never had better food at a ride. AND ALL the food is included in your AERC ride entry fee just like last fall. Dinner for the Spring Ride will be supplied on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. Lunches will be served on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. (The Fall Ride days will start one day earlier in the week, Thursday). ACTHA riders check the ACTHA Ride page tab above for food specifics.
